In January we canceled our Title 1 Parent's Evening when we found out we would have a renowned speaker coming later in the spring for the same topic. We now know that Dr. Nancy Snyder, a certified college planning specialist will be speaking at Manheim Township High School on March 3 and April 18th at 7:00 PM. Dr. Snyder's two presentations will focus on the full spectrum of post-graduate planning from determining what school's or career options are best for students through figuring out how to pay for schooling. She will attempt to dispel many myths by showing how with prudent and careful planning, all students have the ability and opportunity to pursue further education!
For Title 1 Parents, we will also be offering a pre-speech dinner starting at 6:00. Dr. Snyder's presentation will be directed towards students and parents grades 8-12 but we will also have child care available for younger students during the presentation.
